My first reaction when I came to United States

The first time that I came to United State was when i was 6 years old and I went to Orlando, Florida to know Disney. I remember the thing what I most impact was that the pavement was white, in Venezuela the pavement is black because is made with petroleum. The other thing that impacted me was that the street was clean and there were not people walking in the sidewalk because everybody have a good car. In that moment Venezuela was crossing a hard crisis and the country was really poor and the person who has car was old car.
I remember too that my father gave me 100$ to buy whatever I want and I was sad because in my country you couldn't buy anything with 100 Bolivares and I thought that i couldn't buy anything but when I arrive with my mom I saw that everything was cheap, interesting and different than Venezuela.

Hi I'm Vanessa Bereciartu I am from Venezuela, I majored in mass communications and now I'm in Southern Illinois University of Carbondale trying to learn English in the Center of English as a Second Language to get ace at Toefl test.
